When a leading recruitment specialist wanted a talented creative agency to completely overhaul their brand, we filled the role perfectly.


PPS (as they were previously known) provide a range of recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) services to the likes of Halfords, Dyson, Argos and Thames Water. As an established business focused on finding, engaging and keeping great people for its customers, PPS decided it was time to make its own brand and positioning more engaging and better defined. We were appointed following a competitive pitch, having “blown the competition away”. Tasked with understanding the competitive landscape and identifying a unique brand position, we created an extensive insights program which included market assessment, peer and competitor benchmarking, internal and external one-to-one and group discussions.

Part of the research findings told us that the PPS name held little equity and was confusing to customers and prospects alike, and so the opportunity to give an established business a new lease of life was ripe. We led an extensive and inclusive naming process involving workshops with teams from within PPS, eventually resulting in the new name ‘Cohesion’, and created a striking new brand identity and visual style reflecting the positioning and essence of the business.

We created a full suite of brand assets including brand guidelines, a new image library and a vibrant and engaging new website which brought to life Cohesion’s promise of being ‘Your People Business’.
