Client spotlight: Metafuels ‘world’s first’ SAF production facility launch

When our client Metafuels (a Swiss aviation technology company based in Zurich) needed to launch their ‘world’s-first’ methanol-to jet sustainable aviation fuel production facility (SAF), Switch were there to support the occasion.

Unlocking the future of sustainable flight

Our long-standing relationship with Metafuels has seen us help them establish the overall company brand style and identity for their SAF product, aerobrew. This left us well-placed to provide the necessary creative and communications support, including event materials and physical installation elements, to help bring the brand and ambitions to life.

Designed and coordinated from our UK offices in Birmingham, our project team created and delivered the necessary collateral, right through to support on the day at the facility – located at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Villigen, near Zurich.

With a couple of months to complete the process from start to finish, we began by liaising with local production suppliers to ensure ease of delivery running up to the event. The façade of the facility was fully branded for maximum visibility.

Event invites were sent out to delegates as part of an online pre-event registration for delegates, with a full event presentation deck designed to support the event’s wider agenda objectives.

We even branded up sample bottles of aerobrew that had been produced on-site for selected delegates to take away with them as proof that the technology works.

With a number of key off takers already committing to adopt aerobrew when production volumes allow, the event met all of its objectives and delivered the desired outcome, with an extremely high level of aviation sector press support.

From start to finish, the project demonstrated how an in-depth understanding of a client’s business, combined with the right creative and production expertise, allows us to deliver well beyond our own doorstep.

Good creative partnerships travel well.
