The Science 2 Industry (S2I) project is housed and supported by the University of Birmingham, harnessing the combined powerhouses of UOB, the Government’s Science and Technology Facilities Council and the Manufacturing Technology Centre.
The project exists to provide Midlands-based SMEs with free access to cutting-edge science, technology, research and equipment; helping to solve technical challenges and improve manufacturing processes.
Our challenge was to help S2I introduce their proposition to a broad target audience, to stimulate conversation and create relevant enquiries. Whilst the offer was simple, the breadth of expertise and resource available to such a vast range of industry demanded a clear message, and a Big Idea.
We delivered the message using a mix of print and digital DM, supported by tactical live events and quality printed comms, all pointing to a neat website designed to funnel enquiries straight into the client’s business development team.
There’s data to prove just how successful this exercise was. And work with a very happy client is ongoing as we now begin the process of introducing the same target audience to the transformational processes and business benefits that can be delivered through Artificial Intelligence.
